Unless specifically training for it, you will not bulk up with kettlebells. Core muscles are continuously firing as you are constantly stabilizing through the mid-section. This in turn improves posture whilst reducing your risk of lower back injury.

What is the right starting weight for me?

For women


6kg if you are new to exercise, out of condition or unfamiliar with free weights
8kg if you work out regularly
12kg is usually for those experienced with kettlebells or high level athletes
16kg The weight a woman should aspire too!

For men

12kg if you are new to exercise or unfamiliar with free weights
16kg if you are a regular exerciser
20kg if you are a regular exerciser and train a lot with free weights  
24kg The weight a fit man should aspire too!!                                            

WHAT DOES A TYPICAL CLASS INVOLVE?

As is my trademark no two sessions are ever the same. Kettlebell training in Perth, Scotland will involve interval training, Kettlebell drills, combination padwork, fitness drills, awesome boxing drills and the introduction of new kettlebell exercises along the way. Each KEBO-fit session will leave you supercharged and hungry for the next session.
