Personal Training with Fit Pro

“Champions know that there is a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in something, you do it only when circumstances permit. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses only results!”

Perth, Scotland Personal Trainer, Kettlebell Instructor and TRX Instructor
Jason Brownlie welcomes you to fitPRO Solutions.

Let me ask you a question, what can a Personal Trainer do for you?

It is important to consider how much time you can realistically commit and how serious you are about achieving your goals. Be honest with yourself, having a Personal Trainer wont get you the results you require unless you have the right mindset to want to improve your health and be prepared to work hard and put the time in to achieve them.

HOW DO YOU GET YOUR MIND RIGHT? WHERE DO YOU BEGIN?

First understand yourself. Working in the fitness industry, I can say that one of the biggest mental hurdles holding people back from real success is a limited self belief. Maybe it was the way you were raised, or the people surrounding you, or a lack of self-confidence, or even fear-there are many causes. If you nurture limiting beliefs, they'll rule your behavior and your life. I've heard it all:

"I'm not athletic enough to do a tough kind of workout." (So I don't have to.)
"I've never been able to lose the fat in my thighs/belly." (So I won't try.)
"Women shouldn't work with weights- i'll get all bulked up." (So i'll stick to the treadmill.)
"I have a bad back; I have to be careful what activity I do." (So i'll remain sedentary.)
"I'm afraid to change because......." (Nothing changes!!)

Just these few examples illustrate how people allow self-defeating thoughts to rule their activity, and in turn, their fitness, their well-being, their ultimate ability to succeed. Limiting belief systems are learned behaviors. But I honestly believe if you can learn it, then you can also unlearn it.

"Jason motivates you and works you hard but the results are fantastic! We have lost nearly two stones each and still going. We have achieve much more than we thought we would and this is all down to Jason igniting our desire to exercise and eat healthily." Hilary and Ian Stuart

The fitness industry has long been dominated by cardio, weighted resistance machines and the body building style of training.

We move from one electronic device to another be it a car, plane, laptop, mobile, cross trainer or a treadmill, whatever the need, there is a gadget to fulfill it. I dont beleive in gadgets or training fads, they are unnecessary and will never be as effective as good old fashioned hard work.

"My motivation has been known to waiver at times, but Jason has always been there to give advice, motivation, and well, a kick up the backside when I really needed it! You get the whole package - a great programme that's challenging and interesting and meal plans that really work and taste good! Sessions are very hard work and give you a total body workout, but that's the reward (I think!)" Sarah Platt

I believe that most people fail at fitness due to the following:

  • not putting enough effort into sessions
  • not training regularly
  • lack of focus and clearly defined goals
  • lack of fitness training knowledge and techniques leading to boredom
  • not pushing yourself out of the comfort zone due to lack of confidence
  • not enjoying exercising and not having enough time to fit it in
  • The main one is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results

"We first started working together in January 2009 and within 6 weeks I felt my body shape change, my wobbly parts now didnt wobble so much" Morag Dow

If any of the above springs to mind and your looking for a fitness overhaul to put you on the right track then hiring a Personal Trainer is the smartest move you can make. Not only will a Personal Trainer get you results but they will offer you variety, progression, motivation, encouragement and many challenges along the way to ensure you achieve your goals.

"It has always been reassuring to me to have someone of Jason's expertise making sure I don't over-stress my body, whilst getting the maximum benefit from the training sessions. I now train 3 times a week and although retired, have never felt more energetic" Maria Edmunds

NO TIME WASTERS PLEASE!

I really was amazed at how quickly I started to progress. I was leaner and fitter and my body shape changed for the better. I started to tone up, noticing increased muscle definition, as well as improved performance at bootcamp. I was further encouraged by how other people started to notice too. Jane Ferguson

YOU WILL TRAIN WITH CUTTING EDGE TOYS!!!

During our sessions you can expect to be training with some of the best functional equipment on the market such as Kettlebells, the fitness industries ultimate fitness tool, Kettlebells come in various weights and look like cannonballs with handles. Don't be fooled-even the small ones are heavy!

Then there's battle rope training which has become another tool of choice for many athletes, due to it's ability to improve cardiovascular and muscular performance.

And you will become a lifelong friend and fan of the TRX. The TRX is basically an adjustable nylon strap with two handles and attaching foot cradles. Simple. I use the TRX for suspension training, which employs nothing but your own bodyweight. Trust me when I say that this device can single-handedly deliver one of the most intense workouts you'll ever have. The exercise combinations for the TRX can run into the hundreds. I'll give you the moves that will give you the biggest bang for your buck.

The sessions will be tough and although there is a no nonsense way in my approach to training clients, i'll get you into the best shape of your life.  So if your serious about getting amazing results and are prepared to train regularly to achieve them then contact me on 07958 515874.
